Some hotspots on the Rokin are the Allard Pierson Museum, showing ancient history from Greece and other mediteran countries. The channel (end of the Amstel river) used to flow all the way to the Dam square, until the thirties last century. Plans for reopening, in combination with the new metro track are reconsidered.
