Ingrediënts: 1 kg pastry sheets. 2 cups butter. 500 gr walnuts, finely chopped. 1 teaspoon cinnamoon. 1/2 teaspoon cloves. Syrup made with 1 kg sugar. 2 cups water. 500 gr honey.
Mix walnuts with cinnamon and cloves. Grease a baking pan and lie in 4 pastry sheets, sprinkle with walnut mixture. Continue until all ingredients are used, finishing with pastry sheets. Cut through into squares. Heat butter and pour it over baklava. Bake in moderate oven, for about 1hour. Prepare syrup, and pour over baked baklava. Let it stand several hours, in order to absorb syrup.go back to list
