Rundvlees Kroketten

Ingrediënts: half cup butter. 1 cup Onions, chopped. 3 tablespoon Flour. 1 cup Beef broth. 1lb Beef chuck, cooked, chopped. 1 Egg. beaten. Dry bread crumbs. Salt and pepper. Fat for deep frying.
Recipe: Melt butter, saute onions. Add flour making a smooth paste. Add the broth slowly, stirring untill smooth. Add beef, mix thoroughly. Add salt and pepper. Refrigerate mixture untill completely cool. To form croquettes, take mixture and form into small balls. Roll in egg then crumbs untill well coated. Deep fry untill golden brown.
