Fried cheese

Ingrediënts: 250 gr Parmesanany, Gruyere, Greek Cypriot haloumi, kefalotyri or any hard cheese. 50 gr. butter. 1/2 lemon. Pepper.
Recipe: Squeeze the juice of the lemon into a bowl. Cut the cheese into thick slices approx. 1cm. Heat the butter in a frying pan and put the slices in. Turn the heat down and cook for about 1-2 minutes until it bubbles. Use a small frying pan for frying. The cheese should not turn brownish but creamy. When serving sprinkle the fresh lemon juice and some pepper on top. Serve with fresh bread.
