Ingrediënts: Galatoboureko 6 cups milk. 1 3/4 cups semonolia. 1 cup sugar. 6 eggs. 1 tablespoon butter. 250 gr pastry sheets. syrup made of 3 cups sugar. 2 cups water. juice from 1 lemon.
Heat milk and stir in sugar and semonolia. Stir until cream thickens. Remove from heat, and when cooled add eggs and butter. Lay 2/3 of pastry sheets in a greased baking pan, brushing each one with melted butter. Add cream, and cover with remaining shetts. Cut through into squares, and bake in moderate oven, for about 45 minutes. Prepare the syrup and pour it over the galatoboureko as soon as you remove it from oven.go back to list
